Meet Dr. Jay Parekh

“Orthodontics is the greatest profession in the world and I feel truly blessed that I have been given the opportunity to help give someone a beautiful smile. It is truly amazing to see someone who was afraid to smile feel proud to show off their perfect smile a few years later. I also enjoy building trusting relationships with my patients and their families that continue year after year.”

Dr. Parekh attended Texas A&M Health Sciences Center Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002. He continued on to The Ohio State University where he earned his Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics in 2005. In order to stay updated on the latest techniques and methods, he regularly participates in continuing education in orthodontics and general dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Board of Orthodontics, the Ohio Dental Association, the Southern Ohio Dental Society, and the Eastern Kentucky Dental Society.

A native of Odessa, TX, Dr. Parekh currently lives in Mason, OH with his wife, Lindsay, daughter, Makenzie, and dogs, Isabel and Cali. In his free time, Dr. Parekh enjoys flying airplanes, boating, scuba diving, and motorcycles. As a cancer survivor, he is also very active in the American Cancer Society.
